Follow the steps below to combine your chosen splash page with the Traffic Ad Bar.

This could unleash a deluge of free traffic to your offers!

You will want to sign up for a service called Traffic Ad Bar. You can join entirely for free.

Once you are logged into your account, from the menu on the left hand side select "Your Websites"

In the section illustrated, add the web address of the site to which you want to drive traffic. Then click on "Add a website".

With a free Traffic Ad Bar account you can add up to five sites, so you can add multiple pages if you want.

On the next screen, you'll be prompted to add a title and some text that describes your offer so it can be promoted as an ad.

Enter something that describes the theme of your offer, but try to be original so your ad stands out!

You will also need to select "English" as the language of your ad.

After that, scroll down and select "Save".

Once saved, your website should be listed as in the screenshot to the left. You may need to refresh the page a few times before the green "SSL Secure" label appears. This is important, so keep refreshing until it appears.

After that, select the "up" arrow on the right hand side to mark your site as your primary site to which you want to drive traffic. This means that any traffic you earn through Traffic Ad Bar will mostly be directed to that site.

If you add more than one page, then which you select as your primary site is up to you. 

If you click on your listed site, the box should expand to reveal "Your Traffic Ad Bar Link".

Copy that link and paste it into a new tab in your browser (note: you may need to disable your ad blocker to view the page).

When you open your Traffic Ad Bar Link, what you will see is the Traffic Ad Bar added to the bottom of your page.

At the very bottom, you will see (highlighted in yellow) "[YOUR NAME] just earned 3 points".

This is how you will earn more traffic.

Every time your page is viewed through the Traffic Ad Bar Link, you will earn points in Traffic Ad Bar which will send even more traffic to your page!

The only remaining step now is to promote your Traffic Ad Bar link. I recommend that this method is most suitable for promoting splash pages in safelists and traffic exchanges.

Every time a unique visitor lands on the page, you will earn 3 points in Traffic Ad Bar - they don't even need to click on anything!

NOTE: The Traffic Ad Bar Link should be accepted by most traffic exchanges. If any reject the Traffic Ad Bar link, then you can still use the raw link for your page in that particular exchange.

Q: Which traffic sources can I use this method for?

A: It is most suitable for safelists and traffic exchanges. The whole point is to earn Traffic Ad Bar credits from the high volume of traffic that these sites provide.

I do not recommend using this method for premium paid traffic (such as solo ads) where the traffic volumes are low. In these cases, it's more important for you to maximize conversions than to try and get extra traffic.

Q: Which type of web page can I use this method for?

A: I suggest adding the Traffic Ad Bar to splash/bridging pages or capture pages only.

DO NOT use it on sales pages (either for your own products or for those you are promoting as an affiliate), because in these instances you want to maximize conversions.

Affiliate networks such as WarriorPlus+ also employ technology that will block your traffic if you use something like the Traffic Ad Bar on their sales pages.

Q: Will the Ad Bar distract people from the actual offer on my page, reducing the number of opt-ins I get?

A: In my experience, there is minimal drop off in the number of opt-ins I receive through using this method in safelists and traffic exchanges.

Remember that these sites give you hundreds or thousands of hits on your page, the vast majority of which will result in no opt-in.

But you will earn Traffic Ad Bar points for every single one of those users simply because they saw the Ad Bar on your page.

The extra traffic this will create for you is, in my opinion, well worth the risk of a few drop-offs.
